Parents can order lunches for their children from two external providers. Your Lunch Box delivers to the school Monday to Friday, and on Fridays, we have Subway.
Want the hassle taken out of school lunches? Struggling to think of something new for the kids to have every day? Well, say no more, ‘Your Lunch Box’ is here to help! Delivering delicious and nutritious lunchboxes filled with fresh local ingredients directly to school every day.
We offer different sizes for different appetites, and ordering is easy peasy. Simply order before 8.00 pm the night before you would like the lunchbox delivered, and we’ll take care of the rest!

DELIVERED EVERY DAY – School is 5 days a week, so we make lunches 5 days a week. They will arrive at the school’s office before 9.00 am every day, ready for the children’s first break!

FRIDAY’S HOT LUNCH BOX
Hearty Mince pies, hot out of the oven. Delivered right before the lunchtime break, in 100% compostable packaging. Gluten-free and dairy-free pie option available.
Comes with: Seasonal fruit, tomato sauce, and homemade baking.
Delivered between 12.10-12.30 pm, straight to the school office. If ordering a hot lunch on a Friday, please provide morning tea and a healthy snack for your child.

WHAT IS THE CUTOFF TIME FOR ORDERS?
Orders need to be made by 9.00pm on a Thursday, for a Friday lunchtime delivery. Please be aware that if you order after this cut-off time, your order will automatically be transferred to the following week.
HOW DO I ORDER?
To order a Subway lunch, please go to www.subwayexpress.co.nz, selecting ‘school lunch programme’. Please log in or create an account with your details, then choose Tamahere Model Country School, which will automatically default to the Silverdale Road store. You can then choose to start a New Order or choose a favourite order from the list.
Follow steps 1 to 3 to build your sub and add any drinks or sides – remember to select the ingredients you want.
Confirm your order and pay by credit card.
WHEN IS SUBWAY DELIVERED?
These will be delivered freshly made in time for your child’s lunchtime.
